Hello folks,

I notice a "Default" user when I open the Permissions tab on a folder in Outlook 2003, that has granted no permissions; who is this guy?

Default is simply that - default. It is the permissions that a user has when they don't have any other permissions. Leave it at none and then only those who have been granted permissions via a group or as their own username will have access.
