Hi all,

Trying to log into OWA (both internally and externally) gives the "page cannot be displayed" from IE (Firefox - "The Document Contains No Data").

Anyone please, I am tearing my hair out! It was working (using SSL) a few days ago! I have followed knowledgebase articles and rebuilt the OWA database but still had no joy!

Many thanks!

Simon

Sorry Donald, I should have stated this from the beginning.

It is a simple set up - 1 Windows 2003 Small Business Server Standard Edition with all SP1's installed.

Hi Simon,

a couple of Quick Questions for you are there any event logs listed at the same time?

can you access Activesync or OMA ok?

Since its one server it may be a issue with the SSL, I had this recently myself where the SSL had stopped working and I had to delete all Certificates on the server and recreate them, can you access the site without SSL on it?

Thanks

Hi Donald,

No Event Logs of any relevance.

Haven't testes ActiveSync or OMA but will try and let you know.

How do I delete the certificates?

Many thanks

How to delete SSL on IIS.

Open Inetmgr.
Click on Default Web Site / Right Click properties
Permissions / bottom most pane has the View Certificate and Remove Certificate options visible.
Click on Remove Certificates
Complete the steps
Stop and Start the IIS Services.

This should help you remove the SSL certificate on the OWA

what I did was goto run, type mmc and then select Certificates from the add snapin box, I then added Computer and My User account from the options, I then went to Personnel and then Certificates and delete all the certs in here, restarted IIS, and then recreated the certs. restarted IIS and tested all worked.

Let me know how you get on.

I had a problem when i played with iis... All i did is restored IIS Config from Restore/Backup. Worked well.

Open Computer Management
Expand Services
Right Click Internet Info Services
Backup/Restore Config
-> Restore.

I lost my OWAADMIN and anything else i had there b4 the last backup. But OWA works now. SAFE!

Windows 2000 Server SP4
Exchange 2003 SP1
