how can i add the "from" field in owa?, some users needs to be able to use this feature

I dont believe this is an option in OWA.

However if the from field you are trying to send via has a mailbox, than give the 1st user rights to the mailbox and than from within OWA he can choose the Open Mailbox option and open the other mailbox and when he sends a mail it will go via that user instead.

Unfortunately its OWA and not the full blown version of Outlook 2007

Thanks Rishi,
unfortunately it's a distribution group for helpdesk members, and it's members sometimes need to write and reply mails from that address, and since they're not always on their home PC having this feature from owa is a big plus

i know this is not your ideal solution but have you looked at Transport Rules and see if your helpdesk uses a certain code word in the subject line than the from address is changed.
