First off, I am a "newbie" but would appreciate any help I can get. I am working on a client machine that has Windows XP Embedded and I have OWA set up as my default mail client but having problems when I click on an email address on a web page. OWA does come up and appears as a new email message, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the "mailto:" that appears before the actual email address of the person/company that I would like to email. I have played around in the registry to no avail as of yet. Currently I have my registry as follows for the mailto option: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://webmail.johnv.com/exchange/?cmd=new&mailtoaddr=%1" (without the quotation marks of course. Once again, this all works fine except for the "mailto:" appearing before the actual email address. This is what I need to get rid of or prevent from showing up. I hope this is a simple fix and if it sounds like a stupid question, I appoligize in advance, but like I said I'm new so.... HELP please! Thanks

Thanks Lee, I'll look into that and see what I can manage to come up with.

Lee, I did try this but I am getting an error message stating: There is no file extension in "D:\OWA" when I try to run the .vbs file. I have tried running the .vbs file from different locations and it seems to give me the same error message but the drive letter will change depending on where I try to run it from. Example, if I run it from my thumb drive, I get the There is no file extension in "D:\OWA", but if I run it from the desktop it states There is no file extension in "C:\OWA". Hoping you can help me out. Thanks in advance. -Kevin-
