Hi All, Maybe you can help me out with this. I can send emails to everyone outside the network, except for one. When I try to send to this one, I get a message back saying this:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: Test Message Sent: 4/29/2004 8:58 AM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'service@echucacih.com' on 4/29/2004 8:58 AM You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator. <SIL-DC1.office.supremeinternational.com #5.7.1 smtp;550 5.7.1 Access denied>
I am checking some settings in Exchange Server, it is the first time that I see something like this. If you have any ideas let me know, thank you

Same problem for only one adress. Everyone in the society can send to a person, except one. No restrictions are enabled, I've never seen it.

I have the same problem, but I cannot to send any external domain. I recived the 550.5.7.1 Unable to relay error.
I have 1 back-end(LAN) and 1 Front-end(DMZ). Both in the same routing group. I want to migrate the outgoing from my exchange 5.5 to this structure. I have 1 domain and this is in the policy With the following configuration I obtained the 550.5.7.1 Unable to relay for "user@externaldomain" =====BACK-END: ================================= *Authentication: Anonymous,Basic,Integrated Windows *Connection: All except the list bellow *Relay: Only the list bellow All all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above =====FRONT-END: ================================ *Authentication: Anonymous *Connection: All except the list bellow *Relay: Only the list bellow Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above * Delivery=Configure External DNS: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ------------------------------------------------ I've a SMTP CONNECTOR: Use DNS to route to each address space on this connector and the Local Bridheads is the FRONT-END. The Address Space is SMTP=* and cost=1. The option "Allow messages to be relayed to these domains" is disabled. But if I check that option I can to send to Internet, but is wrong because is a open relay server. ================================= How do I configure my server for sending mail to internet? Thank you for all

Our FE SMTP server is set as: Try something like this:
=====FRONT-END: ================================ *Authentication: Anonymous,Basic, Windows Int. *Connection: Only list bellow (list of IP address allowed to send SMTP incl Exchange, Unix servers) *Relay: Only the list bellow (list of IP addresses allow to send SMTP incl Exchange, Unix server) Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above: No * Delivery=Configure External DNS: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Also that error can indicate a problem with the receiving server. We have users submit tickets with that error alot and a lot of time it ends up being a communication error with the receiving mail server. Once we can verify a good connection to thier server the mail is delivered with no problem.
If this is the case you can use http://www.dnsreport.com/ to verify connectivity to an address or mail server.
