When i go to mail.domain.com i get the message below wanting me to type in https://mail.domain.com

Is there a way to automatically redirect the user to the https page, instead of them typeing it in themselves?

Any help is appreciated.

//Richard.

The page you are trying to access is secured with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Please try the following:

Type https:// at the beginning of the address you are attempting to reach and press ENTER.
HTTP Error 403.4 - Forbidden: SSL is required to view this resource.

See:

But be aware that IIS 6.0 wants the OWAASP directory to belong to the ExchangeApplicationPool in order to work !

Thanks for the reply - ive been having troubles with this for a while, and people aren't too happy not to able to get at their mail. Now I'm in the final stage, I just need it to forward to the https.

after following that article, and making sure that owaasp is running in the ExchangeApplicationPool, all i get is "You are not authorized to view this page", whichever way i turn it. I cant get it to work. Any pointers?

Use IIS admin to set up a redirect in the root of your default web site that points to https://server.company.com/exchange. This way, all a user has to do is type in http://server.company.com and they'll be automatically redirected to your secured Outlook Web Access site
