Ok, let me sketch a situation here to explain:

We have a business network over here and internally there are orderconfirmations sent to the management department. One orderconfirmation is sent to all management people, so 1 mail to multiple adresses. Once this mail is read by one management person it doesnt have to be read by the other people anymore, so it should be removed from their inboxes. Can and if, how should this be done? I haven't got a clue, so I would be extremely grateful if you can help me with this.

Not sure about email but using Public Folders will do the trick.

It really depends on the level of scripting and establishing events to work on public folders. Having 1 central depository to have an event kick off versus the entire Information Store is much easier!
