Dear All,

Yesterday, We found some problem occurred from log files on SAN Driver error and can't mount.

My Enviromment

SW:

Windows 2003 SP1
Exchange Server 2003 SP2 on Clustering

All service pack & hotfix is lastupdate by WSUS.
Microsoft iSCSI 2.3 for connection SAN

Drive C: = 60 GB   Mirror from Int Harddisk (Windows only)
Drive E: = 60 GB   Hotswap disk on expansion card (Exchange Program only)
Drive R: = 200 GB  Exchange Database (SAN Disk on NetApp)
Drive S: = 50 GB    Exchange Log (SAN Disk on NetApp)
Drive Q: = 800 MB Quorum Disk (SAN Disk on NetAPP)

HW:

Server - A

Server model: IBM Blade Server HS20
CPU: Intel Xeon 3.4GHz   2 CPU
Memory: 4 GB
Harddisk:
2 Int Harddisk
2 Hotswap Disk on expansion card
Network card:
Blade server don't have network card. Must use switch for simulate to NIC

2 Switch -> 1 Switch for public communication to client & other
          -> 1 Switch for private communication with SAN NetApp 

Server - B

Same model.

Database:
Exchange Database size: 60gb
Exchange Stream size: 12gb

Process for solve this case as below

1. Backup all files before do anything (Stong Recommend)
2. use command eseutil /p
3. I waiting for process..... And it show. (Stong Recommend If you break this processing. Your database is conruppt. And you have never repair)

Deleting unicode fixup table.  <------------ It freezing.. at 17:00 don't have effect anything.
 
YOU can check & verify status of this process at your database drive for me as the Drive R:
1. Go to Drive R:
2. Your database will be last update everytime. You can see from field "Date Modified".
3. F5 for refesh.
3. Please waiting..... DON'T BREAK!!!! I think it's long time for you but make sure your database is don't conruppt.

Repair completed. Database corruption has been repaired!

Note:
It is recommended that you immediately perform a full backup
of this database. If you restore a backup made before the
repair, the database will be rolled back to the state
it was in at the time of that backup.

4. I try to mount database again. It's woking.

60 GB used 8Hrs for repair as 7.5GB per 1 Hrs.
