Hi all, My users who have 'XP Home + SP2' are unable to use 'outlook anywhere' feature. But with 'XP professional + SP2' it is fine. Is this issue a known one? If some one has a fix for this please post the answer ASAP. Thanks & regards Ashok Setty

Should work fine with Windows XP Home. There are no issues that I am aware of. Do ensure that they are using a version of Outlook that supports Outlook Anywhere and it does have SP2 installed. Simon.

Hi Simon, I am using the same 'Office 2003' on XP Home+SP2 and XP Prof.+SP2. And as said I have no issues with XP Prof. where in I don't use 'SP for Office 2003 in either case. Though I obtained serv.pack3 for Office-2003, I shall check this installing on XP Home. ___ Thanks ___ Ashok

Hi Simon & others, Even with 'Office 2003 SP3' there is problem with 'Outlook anywhere' on XP-Home-SP2'. And FYI 'Outlook anywhere' is just fine with 'XP professional SP2'. Has someone faced an identical problem where 'outlook anywhere' works with XP_prof but doesn't work with XP_Home. Regards Ashok

The only known issue with Windows XP home is that you cannot use NTLM authentication - you have to use basic, because the machine cannot be a member of the domain. Otherwise there are no other reasons why it should fail. Perhaps it would help if you indicated what doesn't work, as at the moment there is no sign of that, other than "unable to use 'outlook anywhere' feature". Simon.
