I am working on setting up a new exchange 2007 environment. Here are the details of what we have currently.

1 - Exchange 2003 server in place that we are going to migrate off of.

2 servers running Exchange 2007 Client Access and Hub Transport roles
2 mailbox servers setup using CCR.

We are going to be adding another cluster of mailbox servers eventually.

What I am trying to do is setup network load balancing for the Client access portion using our Barracuda load balancer. I need to set this up so that I can start to point dns to it for mail to flow through the 07 environment as well as for OWA and ActiveSync. I have created a service in the cuda with an IP address and name and then for the port it is set to all. I added the 2 cas/ht servers and created an entry in our dns servers for the service. I can ping the service by name or ip and all seems fine. I can access the owa page on either cas server directly but when I try to access owa via the load balancer I get page cannot be displayed.

Thanks for your help in advance and if you have any suggestions or questions please let me know.

Thanks,
Zach

I'm not familiar with the appliance or how to integrate it into your exchange services.

But taking out the Barricuda for now, you could NLB the cas function between the two servers and simply point the appropriate external/internal DNS entries to that NLB-node IP address.  I think originally you couldn't NLB the hub transport function, but that was fixed with SP1.

Removing the barracuda is not really a route we want to take. I know I could use the windows network load balancing, but I really want to utilize our hardware load balancer.
