2007 OWA no Recovered Deleted Item Options

Hi,

How come i can't locate Recovered Deleted Item in OWA 2007?

According to some knowledgebase, it should be has an option to recover at options>deleted item.

But my OWA only shows "Empty Deleted Items folder 0n logoff"

Please help and Thanks.

Hi,

I assume you have installed SP1. Did you have a look on the segmentation tab if the option is enabled ? This can be checked on the client access server below the server configuration folder.

i faced the same probleum too, but i cant find segmentaion tab on owa option.It is there any configuration have to take on the server?

Hi,

No normally this option is activated by default. Are you sure you checked the owa virtual directory and not the Exchange one ?
Only the owa virtual directory has this option.

Besides this can you tell me where the mailboxes are hosted on ? Is this an Exchange 2003 server of 2007.

Hi,

Just to be sure, are there mails in the deleted items box ? Else you won't see this option.

...already empty the deleted item box...but still hoping for recover it...

any option that i can try like server log files.if so how do i recover it from log files to mail.plz help....

For this feature to be available you HAVE to be running SP1 for Exchange. From the image you posted it is clear that you are NOT running SP1 because the version number shows as 8.0.285.24 and service pack 1 is 8.1....
