I have an Exchange 5.5 Server running for our company for several years. Recently I have installed a 2nd exchange 5.5 server in one of our branch office for backup purpose. I installed it in the same site as the primary one, so it does directory replication automatically.
My question is how can I setup so the 2nd server has a copy of all the mailbox and contents, in case of the primary exchange server dies then the users can still access their mailbox?

You need a 3rd party product to do this as 5.5 does not offer such a DR situation. Normally, clustering is used in case a server dies and data is shared between clustered hosts.
It may be difficult to find such a product nowadays due to 5.5 being so old.
