A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two recipients. Contact your administrator.

You might have two users sharing the same email address. Search the Event logs for event #9514 to see which two accounts are causing it.

I have seen this happen before when you have a users mail being forwarded and delivered to the users mailbox. In AD Users and Computers, find the user having trouble, double click on their account, and then go to the Exchange General tab. Click on the Delivery Options button. Look for the section call Forwarding Address. It may be set to Foward to another recipient. If it is, and that recipient is the same user you are looking at, it can cause the error you described.
