Hi Friends,

my current setup is
AD- 2008 R2 .Forest/domain functional level is 2003
Exchange 2007 R3 CU23.

my plan is to upgrade AD to 2012 R2 and then upgrade exchange to 2013.

If I upgrade Forest/domain level to 2008 R2 will it support exchange 2007 ?
if I upgrade it further to 2012 R2 will it support ?
I am not able to find any support matrix for exchange 2007 in technet, all are starting from exchange 2010.
Please help me.

Thanks in advance

Do you mean you want to upgrade 2008 R2 to 2012 R2 on the same hardware. If you do I wouldn't recommend that best to install 2012 R2 on a seprate server and then promote it as a DC. But if this is not possible after having proper backup of AD you can upgrade it to 2012R2.

With Exchange I am not sure if direct upgrade is available from 2007 to 2013.

Probably follow this guide for Exchange 2007 to 2013
