Hello everybody,

I would add the compagny name into the "From" adress for external organisation. (actually show From : firstname lastname <firsname.lastname@domain.com> ) i whant all mail sended to external organisation show from "CompanyName - Firsname LastName <firstname.lastname@domain.com>".

The mose easy way is to change the "DisplayName". But after the Global Adress List show internal the compagny name. And into the AD the user become "CompanyName - Firstname Name" <- Not good.

It's possible to show first name nam internaly and for mail send to external organisation show from "CompanyName - FirstName Name <firstname.name@domain.com>" ?

Or how to show first name / name into the OAB ?

It is possible to have different 'friendly names' (that's what the text portion of the sending address is known as in an external SMTP address), you should have a look at this blog article: http://blogs.technet.com/b/bobh/archive/2010/03/31/using-the-simple-display-name-as-an-external-display-name.aspx as a start (there are others also).

Note that implementing your required functionality that way means you have to have processes to keep the Simple Display name field updates for all your users - you'd want presumably to link this in some way (with a script? or with procedures?) to the contents of the Displayname field for each account.

Or alternatively you could implement the functionality via some non-Exchange SMTP 'smarthost' (postfix perhaps?) that would sit between your Exchange system and the Internet, and manipulate the SMTP headers of outbound email.
