Good day,

In my testing environment, i have two servers .. i need to install Windows Server 2008 and AD on both servers  so that one is a replication to the other.

I also need to install Exchange Server 2007 on both servers so that one is replication to the other.

I know its not recommended to install Exchange server on AD server , but this is just a test for the additional and replication methods .

so what steps should take to install Exchange 2007 on Server 2008 , and how can i make the second Exchange server a replica to the first one.

I quite new to Exchange server and i really need a help with that please.

Regards

Hi,
You may go for E2K7 SCR.
Ref to:
Standby Continuous Replication

All the Best:)

Thanx Sathish

I already did this without the use of SCR or any kind of clustering !
Installed the Exchange 2007 SP1 on both servers and everything worked fine , the only problem now is the mailbox database ! when i create a mailbox for a user it  requests the database path which resides on of the two servers AD-SRV and Additional AD-SRV .so if a server is down , its user accounts wont work ! even though the other server sees all the accounts but not the the mailbox database !

is there anyway to replicate database ?
if not , can i use external storage like NAS and make the two Exchange servers use the same mailbox database ?

Regards,
