All,

Currently running Exchange 2K Enterprise and have Groupshield handling the antivirus chores for e mail. So far I have been real happy with it.

However I have been reading that it would be better to implement a 2 tiered approach to anti virus software and was wondering if anyone had oppinions about this, how to possibly implement it and comments about GFI's antivirus product.

Thanks

I have tried gfi's mailsecurity. This product supports exchange 2000's vsapi. Mailsecurity can also be installed on a gateway, and you can provide double security (if you do not want to remove Groupshield from your exchange 2k).

Take a look at Sybari Antigen. I have been using it for a couple of years and have had much success with it. It uses multiple scan engines plus scans it at a different level then a lot of other virus prevention vendors. http://www.sybari.com

Started with gfi's mail essentials a couple of years ago....product was refocused and MailSecurity was released as the email security version, decided to go for it....and no complaints so far....easy to configure, no crashes...don't need to say more really...
