My customer has a hosted archiving service, as well as email filtering (Webroot SaaS). Archving is now flowing correctly but there was an issue where the customer changed the IP address, subsequently 600 emails got stuck/stopped in the deleted items. We want to be able to force them through again but so they appear from the correct sender/recipient - rather than attach them to any mailbox as this will defeat the object of archiving them to webroots SaaS service.

Any ideas folks how to achieve this. I believe it is Exchange 2000 or at least the main server is, the 2nd server had to be installed as there was no journaling in exchange 2000 standard. The 2nd server is simply a mail server with one mail store.

Many many thanks in advance

Carl Connor

ok, well you can use an IMAP collector to re-queue the mails apparently. However on the old archiving 'Webroot' SaaS solution this is not possible - it can be done on the new 'Webroot' archiving service which is a paid service.
