Hi all,

I have an issue setting up autodiscover.

I have a CCR Ex 2007 sp1 cluster. I have 2 HUB/CAS servers.

I have ONLY INTERNAL domain based clients. No OWA certs set up or any certs in fact.

The company is planning on rolling out Vista & outlook 2007 so I am testing autodiscover.

I run all the tests and it is fine both from within EX shell
e.g test-outlookwebservices. I also test from within outlook & it is fine.

During the autodiscover it enters the details for me fine but then it asks for a domain username & password for the CAS/HUB server not the actual cluster. Should it not be automatic?

It then seems to complete the profile creation ok. - Eventually

When I open outlook, it seems to connect to the mailbox cluster & open my mailbox fine but it still pops up looking for a domain username & password for the CAS/HUB server not the actual cluster.

If I cancel this request, it still says connected in the bottom right of screen.

It asks for this every time I open out though. How can I sort the permissions so it uses my log on details instead of asking over & over?

Thanks,

Andrew

Have you have an A records for autodiscover pointing to the mailbox H/C server?
dns entry should be the ip address of the h/c server. Also, the name should be AutoDiscover.
