I'm sure I have something missing or misconfigured, but can't determine what it could be.
OWA works, Activesync works.
On my computer with Outlook 2007 I am getting "Not downloading Offline address book files. Server (URL) could not be located. 0X8004010F"
Users with Outlook 2010 do not receive sync issues, but free/busy info is not available when scheduling meetings
When I run Test E-mail AutoConfiguration... I get the following
When I run Test-OutlookWebServices I get errors 1006 and 1013 with The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.
Loopback is disabled, IPv6 is disabled.
Server 2008R2 and Exchange 2007 SP3 coexisting with Exchange 2003 on Server 2003. All mailboxes are moved onto Exch07, public folders are replicated, OAB is on the Exch07. Everything goes through an ISA 2006 server with a caching DNS configuration.
Internal namespace is seperate from public. That is to say my internal domain could be internaldomain.com and my public externaldomain.com. My public name resolution is handled by my ISP and ISA directs everything to the Exchange server.
I did not initially have an external URL configured for autodiscover, but have since taken care of that, and the requesite listener and rules in ISA. All of that tests OK, but OAB is still giving issues.
EDIT for a while I thought it could be my certificate as I was seeing a chaining error when I would run sslchecker, but that seems to have sorted itself somehow (???)

Still banging my head against this trying to find out what is causing the OOF, OAB, Free/Busy issues. Here is what I get now when I test outlook autoconfig
But I still get the Not downloading Offline addess book errors.
Here is what I see when I run get-offlineaddressbook. For Server it shows my new Exch07 server, but for PublicFolderDatabase it shows my old Exch03 server. Could that be the cause of this problem? I am still running both coexisting, though all mailboxes are moved and everything else is replicated.
More info - I tested whether or not AutoDiscover and Outlook anywhere work from home yesterday and indeed they do, so obviously I have the public (external) URLs and what-not configured correctly or well enough to work. OAB downloads just fine with no sync errors too over that connection. Can also set up mail enabled devices using AutoDiscover now.
So, I guess can anybody confirm that having the two servers, 2003 and 2007 still coexisting is likely the issue on the private (internal) network? I've read a few thing from MS that suggest this is so. I am very nearly ready to remove the Exch2003 server, but want to be sure that it doesn't need to be in place to resolve this issue.
Right now, on my system with Win XP SP3 and Office Outlook 2007 SP2, inside out private network:
Connection status shows the FQDN for our mail server, TCP/IP connection, no failures
Test E-mail Autoconfiguration shows the same info as the screen shot in my second post. The log shows GetLastError=0: httpStatus=200 which I think means successful. The next line shows Autodiscover to https://fqdn/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml succeeded (0x00000000)
However, when I look in Outlooks Sync Issues folder, every hour I see the error "Not downloading Offline address book files. A server (URL) could not be located 0x8004010F
Inside our private network, on computers with Office Outlook 2010, users are challenged for credentials when they open Outlook. They do not appear to have the OAB sync issues, or at least I don't see any errors, but Out of Office Assistant does not work, stating server is unavailable. Free/busy does not work. These last two things do not work on the Outlook 2007 systems either.
Out of Office assistant DOES work via OWA though. And as stated before, Outlook anywhere appears to work connecting Outlook 2007 and 2010, and when connected outside the private network using Outlook anywhere, downloading OAB succeeds.
