Hello, I would like to do following on mailbox: I want to monitor the incoming/outgoing messaging activities on certain mailboxes. I have configured forwarding messages rule on server so that all incoming messages for those mailboxes are copied to another mailbox for review. But I don't know how to capture those outgoing messages from those mailboxes. Any idea? Thanks in advance, Pakeon

You would need to implement journaling which would capture everything on the store specified. If you want to do it individually you would have to implement an event sink. Here's a sample below. Keep in mind that this will only copy the outgoing message to the target mailbox if the target mailbox is not on the same server as the source mailbox. This is by design. http://msexchangetips.blogspot.com/2006/08/exchange-forwarding-copy-of-users_21.html

Sure here is a great tutorial for setting up journaling for Exchange 2000. Journaling will capture all emails sent and received for the specific store. You cannot individually select users, it's all or nothing. The only work around is to say put only these users in a store to be archived and run journaling on this store.
