Hi to all!
This is my first question and in front I apologize for being a dumb one. I have no expertise in exchange environment so I'll try to be as front as I can. In advance  I would like to apologize again for my EN.
To begin...
I'm writing an application which among other things can access 'GlobalAddressList' and get fax numbers out from contacts in that list. To do so I need to have some kind of EXCH SRV installed so I could  run my tests. I've decided to install it on my virtual machine, so I prepared it and installed Win Srv 2003 SP2 (32 bit) as I understand this is ok for testing purposes. I've installed Application Server role on it so far, I'm intrested in what other roles I need to install before I could start instaling Exchange 2007?
So far for my first post. Thanks in advance to all who can help me!

Thanks for your replay.
I think you miss understand me.
I'm not thinking of providing no fax functionality, I just stated that I need to extract fax number (with my app) from contact within global address list. What I need is simple some (any) kind of GAL. My only purpose of installing exchange environment is so I can access GAL from my applications for testing!
If anyone know the easiest way for me to test my application let me know. I've never installed such things so I'm full of mixed thoughts!
Thanks once again.

I believe a little bit of vbscripting/LDAP query can pull that data from your Active Directory environment (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/resources/qanda/dec06/hey1211.mspx).  That should get you started.  You dont need an exchange server for this since that number should be stored in AD.  Hey Scripting Guy is a pretty good source.  MSDN will fill in the rest like the exact field name.  Good luck.
