I have some role based email addresses and I would like to reassign the recipient to a new user account. Mail is being pulled from an external SMTP server and routed via the Windows SBS Pop3 Connector to the new user, but for some reason the emails are still ending up in the account for the old user.
Is there anything that should be done after making such changes to propagate them through the system? Alternatively, how can I analyse the path that the emails are taking to get to the user account?

cheers
Stuart

Create a mailbox or a mail-enabled Public folder for the common-purpose addresses.
Never reassign the addresses but manipulate access rights.
