I don't know if I'm posting this in the proper area. My apologies if I am in the wrong area, but here goes....

Like other organizations, we have a group email address that we use to send to all employees, all@mydomain.com which all employees are a member of. Is there a way to restrict emails from outside our domain from being sent to that address, such as from a gmail or yahoo account?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give that a shot right now.

The settings you are looking for are on the Exchange General tab.

So what I did is went to the group name, then properties, then Exchange General tab. Under message restrictions, I selected "only from" and selected my "all" group. Easy fix!!!  Thanks for the direction.

It was already a security group? (I'm now starting to doubt myself if that's a requirement for this or not )
Not sure what you mean by that - a Security Group can be a Distribution List, meaning it would have the same configuration settings.

I see - I'm not sure, but given where the setting lives, it would seem it might be separate from the other security attributes.
