I have lots of unwanted emails from I don't know senders. I get annoyed when opening my outlook and found that spam messages from my inbox. How can I block those messages and prevent them from sending spam messages in my outlook?

You have a few options, from Exchange 2010's inbuilt antispam functionality, to using a third-party security service to scan your emails before they are even sent to you.

http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2010/management-administration/anti-spam-using-edge-transport-server-Part1.html is a good start if you want to use the native capabilities - if you don't have/want an Edge server, certain aspects of the antispam functionality can be added to the Hub server instead.

Hexamail offer a nice solution for Exchange that we use to block spam. Its got a really clear quarantine interface that lets you just right click email to block senders, sender IP addresses (more useful) or by subject etc.

It's a general problem. One of my friends who is working for IDF Marketing told me the solution of it. Actually you can only mark them as spam. There is no option of stopping them.

If you want to disable receipt of such letters you need:

* Select a message from an addressee you want to block.
* From a drop-down menu `Message`, click `Block Sender`.

A dialog box will prompt you to delete all messages from that address that are in the selected folder. If you do not want to do it - select `No`.

The letters will not be loaded from a server.
