Hello,

Good day,

Im using MS Exchange 2007 and outlook 2007, how would I set that if I invite another user for a meeting schedule and that user has a schedule set in his calendar on the same day and hour that conflicts and automatically the server will send a feedback for a conflict of schedule.

Thanks

John

I am confused a bit!

When you are creating a meeting request, you have the scheduling view that will show you all the proposed attendee's free\busy time!! If you see a user already has a meeting, you would not send a meeting invite for that time, would you?

Is there something I am missing in the steps you take to create a meeting? Are we talking about users in different organizations?

AHA! Now I see the light!

Are you using public folders in the organization? How many Exchange servers do you have? What roles are they running? Has free\busy lookup ever worked? If so, what changed to break it?

I'm not using public folders in the organization and I have only one exchange server running, I don't set any roles, I believe it was a default, after install the free/busy look-up doesn't work at all, did I missing something during the installation?

Thanks again.

Definitely sounds like the configuration was not complete. Please run Test-OutlookWebServices and post the results.
