Hi,

Since Friday afternoon one of our users has been unable to forward or reply to messages in an additional mailbox configured on her account. She receives a System Administrator You do not have permission to send to this recipient NDR

This user is a member of staff of a sister company who we host Exchange Mailboxes for in our Exchange 2003 Server, there is a 2 way trust configured between domains but they currently authenticate using a account in our domain (because I haven't progressed to having them authenticate against their mailbox uising their own domain credentials yet).

There is a VPN trunk configured between the two businesses which acts as the network extension.

She can send new emails and reply to emails internally and externally from her mailbox, just not from the additional one (a generic shared mailbox). This has been working for months without issue and nothing has changed on exchange in the infrastructure so not sure why this is happening.

Any help much appreciated.

GD

Doublecheck the permissions - make sure the user still has Full Mailbox Rights.  Did you install any Microsoft Updates last Friday?

Also, is the user replying as herself, or is she attempting to send as the other mailbox?  If so, doublecheck the Security permission "Send As".
