Can't access Public Folders - 3.Mar.2004 2:24:00 PM

When I go into system manager, administrative groups, Folders and then try to expand Public Folders, I get the following error:

"The object is no longer available, press F5 to refresh the display, then try again.

ID no: 80040e19
Exchange System Manager"

I have tried this and it does not work. I did stop my HTTP virtual server to restrict access to OWA. After I did that and tried to access Public Folders, I got a pop up that said to start the HTTP virtual server, so I did that. Public Folders are still not available to me.

I have re-booted the server to do a blanket re-start of all services.

I would like to get access to this folder, if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

It was the issue that this article, 328659, applies to that was causing my problems.

If you can't access public folders.
Check if you didn't installed after exchange server 2000 or 2003, the certified server, and added an certificate to the Web Server for https OWA.
If you done that, remove the certificate and install it again, when aplly only to the exchange virtual folder of ISS the secure channel (critical step) of exchange.
