Can't access just migrated mailbox

Hello,

I've just migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000.

When a client (member of the user domain group) try to access to his fresh
migrated Mailbox it doesn't work. Same thing if the user try to acces to a
just created mailbox (with outlook).

The client can still access to non migrated mailbox (on the Exchange 5.5
server).

Clients also can access to the EX2K mailbox when he is member of the
administrator domain group).

So what is the problem ?

To upgrade to W2K / EX2K I installed a new server in NT 4 as BDC. I promote
him PDC. Then I upgrade the server in W2K. Then I installed EX2K, and
migrate obect from the directory with AD Connector...

Sounds like you need to set the permissions on the new mail boxs to allow the users old accounts rights to the mail box.

To do this, go to the properties of each user, select show advanced, then go to mailbox rights, and add the users account. You'll then need to set the permissions to read items and full mailbox access.

If this doesn't solve it or doesn't make sense, could you give more detail on what steps you have taken so far.

Please try looking for ACL's as when you use sp2 to migrate the accounts created are disabled in most of the cases so please try looking into that also this is my first every reponse to anyone in this fourm please ignore if this is a worng response i am new into this world of Exchange servers
