Can't access to OWA on secondary exchange server

Status: offline 		Senario I:
- We have two site VPN connection site1 and stite2
- We have running windows 2003 and exchange 2003 server each sites
- We have two server runing in stie1 (one is AD and other is Exchange1)
- We have one server runing in site2 (Exchange2)
- Exchange Server site1 store mailbox1,mailbox2,mailbox3 and Exchange Server site2 store mailbox4, mailbox5
- We host OWA on site1

Problem: When user try to access from internet to Exchange user containt mailbox in site1 throught OWA it working fine, but can't access exchange user contant mailbox in site2 and it is required 2 times login user and passd.

Note: In VPN LAN we have put 2times login it successful but from internet failed.
I very appreciate if have someone in this forum can help me...

This might be silly question,

Site2 users - Are they able to access the mailbox from owa like https://CASServerName/owa?

Are they able to access from Site1

Is there any firewall and policy which is blocking.

- Site2 users can access there mailbox from OWA
- In LAN they can access from site1 sucessfull but we need to put user/passd 2times and From Internet they can's access
- No firewall policy blocking
Do you have any advise?

Status: offline 		here i feel like the problem is having one CAS server for both sites (i may be wrong but i feel)

In the different site scenarion you need to have CAS- mailbox atleast and proxy re-direction should be implemented

Status: offline 		Actually, I have only one AD and Exchange1 and Exchange2 are the member of AD.
Anyway I have change the configuration my server as following below:


On the front-end


- Disable the SMTP Virtual in Exchange System Manager
- Allow only HTTP
- Configure the IIS configuration to use Certificates & SSL
- Be aware that front-end topology only use


On the back-end (Primary-or Master)


- all IIS configuration leave default
- SMTP Virtual in Exchange System Manager, grant Relay for the secondary server IP address
- In the Advanced of Delivery of SMTP Virtual, enter the FQDN of the external domain (mail.khconsultant.com) with tick Perform reverse DNS lookup…

- Make sure that you have Internet Mail SMTP configured to Use DNS to route…, and only the Master server is in the Local bridgeheads list

Now it working fine... thanks anyway...

Apologize for forgetting that we are in the Exchange 2003 forums rather then in Exchange 2007.

But the reply which you have given is clear cut understanding on how to go with this sort scenario in Exchange 2003
