I've installed Echange 2003 on Windows 2003 server. I've
been able to create mailboxes in AD with no problems.
I've been able to test my Exchange server with OWA and
send and receive mail for some users, again no problems
at all. I did the same tests with POP3 and it's still OK.
But as soon as I try to install the mapi client in
Outlook XP I receive the following message: "The action
could not be completed. The bookmark is not valid."
or "The name could not be resolved. The bookmark is not
valid." I made sure that I used the right account and
password from AD. Is it a security problem (Windows 2003
or Exchange 2003)?

Anyone has an idea?

Thanks
Pat

Hello pat,

Sounds like your client can't resolve name of Exchange Server. Can you ping the Exchange Servers hsotname from the client.

Think you should check your clients DNS settings.

Regards
