I can access the login window. When I use ANY username and password, it never works! After 3 tries I get Error: Access is Denied. I think I have everything set up properly. I'm not too sure though. Please help! This is very frustrating.

Are you entering the user credentials as the following

domain\username

password

you must have your domain name in ther with the default settings.

It says I am logging into ap-exc1.datadisplay.de. For the user name I have tried ap-exc1\bs1, datadisplay\bs1, datadisplay.de\bs1, and just bs1. It always says unathorized.

Do you have an MS ISA proxy in your set up aswell?

You might find that your company firewall is blocking your authentication traffic (not sure what ports etc)

I had exactly the same problem when trying to access another Ex2003 box from work. I got the logon box but nothing worked. The admin at the other end enabled forms based authentication and everything works fine now (and it looks prettier)
