Can't open EventConfig_(Servername) Folder - 21.Sep.2001 9:44:00 PM

I can't open my eventconfig folder. It tells me that the object can't be found in the directory when I try to look at the properties. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Does the "Event service" service started on the server? If not follow Q285021.
If you see two EventConfig folders follow Q187523.
You may need to reinstall the Event service. (Event service is used for triggering scripts on Public Folders)
Follow Q192174
Do you really need the Event service if this server is not hosting Public Folders?

Be sure that the Event Service is installed and started. If you still cannot access this folder, open the properties of the Public Information Store of the Exchange server and go to the Instances tab. Be sure that the folder is listed on the right hand side <if not - add it>.
