I have a SBS2k3 that seems to be *mostly* working; the Outlook clients can send email fine, and Exchange appears to be pulling the email down from the external host (I have verified this by checking the host/webmail and watching the emails disappear); the problem is that Exchange is being selfish and not passing the email on to the Outlook client. The mailbox sync's ok, and I can see (in Exchange) that the qty of messages goes up.

I don't believe it's an Outlook issue since I can use OWA and messages don't show there either. The e-mails also aren't (accidentally or otherwise) getting passed on to the default folder (where undeliverable mail goes) since I have checked that account as well.

I’ve also tried deleting the account and creating a new one, but still no success...

Every time I send an e-mail to the e-mail address it first comes up in webmail (web hotel) then the exchange server download it and it disappears from the webmail and adds 1 item to the exchange mail store of the user, but I still can’t see the e-mail in owa or the outlook...

Also tried reconnecting the mailbox to another user (still couldn't see the e-mails).And then I create a new account and connect the e-mail address to that, still can't see the incoming e-mails...

I'm a novice on exchange and might as well do something wrong when connecting the address to the account? But would the Item number increase in the user mail store then?

I connected the e-mail via the connection/smtp/properties and wrote the pop3 server/port and credentials and then I added the e-mail address to the user e-mail list and set it to primary.

This is how I connected the other e-mails (I think??) at the server that still works, but this new one just doesn’t?
