I can't access to public folders in System Manager. I get this error. "The Object is no longer available Press F5 to refresh the display, and then try again"

I can create/modify/delete folders in M: drive but when I do that way security permissions mixes up.

The Public folders also works fine on Client Outlooks but I need see them in System Manager so I can set security permissions.

Thanks in advance and waiting for an urgent reply from anyone who can help

Hello Janbek,

Do you now that you can not create public
folders in the drive letter M?
Drive letter M is a virtual drive,
created by exchange.
Try with ms outlook on a client and
try to make a public folder.
The client must have admin rights!

succes

Thanks for the reply..
The Problem is I Can't access them in System Manager. I get the error that I mentioned above.

Of course I can create folders in Outlook Client but obviously something is wrong since I Can't see the folders in System Manager.

Any thoughts?

Did you do a IIS lockdown?

This will have changed your Urlscan.ini settings.

Go to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 328659. Use method number 1 to modify your Urlscan.ini file.
