Hi,

I have a w2k domain controller with exchange 2k sp3. My server has 2,5 GB RAM.

A few days after reboot, exchange takes about 900MB ram.I know exchange don't use all of this ram but takes it as reserve.

Is there a way i can limit this preserved ram ?I have less than 25 mailboxes.

Thx

Why would you want to limit it when you have 2,5 GB RAM available? I mean the RAM is there to be used [Smile]

Hi Henrik,

On this server i also installed isa server, and this software also takes about 500 mb ram.
At this moment the server mem usage is 2,20 GB ram. (with other programs active in background)

I installed windows 2k server standard edition. Im afraid im now over the 2GB ram appication limit in win2k standard edtion. Therefore...

But Exchange will release the memory when other applications asks for it, this is how Exchange has been designed. There are no supported way of limiting the memory usage, and typically the server will start to experience problems if you do.
