Hi All, I have Exchange 2003 SP 1 Server. Now I am having the problem with receiving email from one email address. If they send to my exchange email and cc to my personal gmail, I can received their email from my personal one. My office email is not. I already check my spam filter list and they are not in my blocked list. I am using IMF and already checked in spam archive folder and their email is not there as well. Any idea? Thanks, MTK

But what happens to the original message? Does the outside account get an NDR? If so what does it say? If not, use Message Tracking to search for the sender. If that doesn't turn up anything, check your queues and your SMTP log.

Just a shot in the dark. Are you filtering spam yourself or using a 3rd party? You may want to check to see if that sender's domain is on some sort of Black list with whoever you're using to check against such as (spamhaus.org)... I had similar problem, but mine was simply the fact that my Zone Alarm's filter had filtered it into my ZA junkmail folder.

Hi! MTK, uemurad asked you "If not, use Message Tracking to search for the sender. If that doesn't turn up anything, check your queues and your SMTP log. " what are you see in SMTP log? I think you must try to send mail from your office mailbox to this email address and then they trying to answer on your e-mail? After that see SMTP log, queues.

Are you sending your outbound messages to Postini? Have you searched there for them? Have you configured Content Filtering there?

Your outbound message was received by Postini. If you are not familiar, that is a gateway service that performs Spam and Virus filtering. Since it appears from Message Tracking and your SMTP log that your message left your environment successfully, it is now up to the recipient to search for the message, beginning at Postini. Let them know - they should know what to do next.

If you are not seeing a connection from their system in your SMTP logs, then you can help them troubleshoot. Have them check Message Tracking to see if Exchange is sending the message out of their system, have them look at their SMTP logs to see if they are making a connection.
