I am able to send email but not receive it. When I go to www.checkdns.net and do a test for my domain crestpsi.com. It says email is working fine. But when I open up users Outlook it doesnt receive mail and I get delivery messegaes returned after a couple of hours if I try to send these internal users email.
It was all working fine when I had my ISP do the DNS. Now I am doing it and it seems like it is fine, from the tests.
What should I look at for the problems?

Hello,
Yes your MX records seems to be fine, I guess 66.7.246.234 is the IP address of your Exchange server right ?
Have you set up the respective SMTP domain (@crestpsi.com) under Recipient Policies in the Exchange System Manager ? If yes have you verified the AD users had the SMTP domain addresses pushed to them ? You can check under a couple of the AD users properties.

Unfortunatley yes everything you said is yes. I have everything setup like that.
That is why I am confused b/c it is a new setup with most of the defaults and it was working at a different DNS.
That is the DNS server IP, correct?

Hmm did a little more checking, seems like I can't telnet to either 66.7.246.234 nor mail.crestpsi.com, that seems to be the problem.
Have you opened up port 25 for inbound access in your router/firewall/etc. ?

Wow, so get this. After talking with my host and having them send me emails, It works. I think my problem is my ISP still has something cached. It seems anything off of my ISP's DNS works?
Have you seen that before?

Yeah this finally ended up working once I got on my ISP's butt. I think it was them and not releasing records when tyhey said they did.
