Here are the details. Migrating from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010. E2K7 CAS url is mail.xyz.com which we want to keep. The E2K10 CAS has been set to exchange.xyz.com, which now they want to keep as well.
Once the migration ends we would like to have �legacy� or non-pilot users continue to use mail.xyz.com for OWA, autodiscover and etc. Or if they want they could use the exchange.xyz.com� the pilot users (users that moved to E2K10 as testing accounts and etc) have been told to use the exchange.xyz.com and will continue to do so, of course giving them the option to use mail.xyz.com too.
Is this possible and if so� how?

Yes. All you need to do is to create new OWA virtual directories and you can assign individual certificates to each site. You'll either need more IP addresses or at least decide which site gets to be on TCP 443 and which ones have to enter :444 :445 etc. etc. to their URLs.

Will this work for autodiscover and etc or just OWA? Even if it is just OWA i am pretty sure that will be ok so really asking out of curiosity. And thank you for the response and link.

It will work for everything, including Outlook Anywhere etc.
Autodiscover is just something you put into DNS so as long as you set that up properly you're ok.
