Hello,
I can not download the OAB... error message: 0X80072F0D
The Autodiscover function works...
I think I have a problem with the certificates... How should I create a Certificate? ...I mean: which values do I need? When I test the OAB-URL in a browser on the client pc, it shows a untrustworthy certificate --> How can I do it trusty?

Thx for help and sry for this english...

Hi,

You can do this by importing the root certificate of the CA server in your trusted root authorities. The second step is to ensure that the certificate which is used by the CAS server is assigned the same url as the CAS server. For example:

if you use the following for autodiscovery: autodiscovery.company.local
please ensure that the certificate is also assigned to it.

You can check this by getting the properties of the certificate from the CAS server.

Hi,

Resolution
========
Install a Trusted Certificate on CAS for OAB to work with SSL i.e. <https://>
or
If you have an self-signed certificate configured on CAS, you need OAB download URL
set as http://serverFQDN/OAB
OAB doesn't work with <https://> if your certificate is self-signed, always check
and change https://serverFQDN/OAB type of URL to http://serverFQDN/OAB for OAB to
work. <follow below steps>
Steps to change URL for OAB
===============================
Launch Exchange Management Shell:
Run command: Set-OABVirtualDirectory -Identity "servername/OAB (default web site)"
-InternalUrl http://....
From Exchange Management console
=================================
Server Configuration -> Offline Address Book Distribution -> OAB (default web site)
-> properties -> URLs -> Change internal or external URL as per your requirement
Additional Info
============
Autodiscover and availability services works fine with self signed certificate but
OAB needs trusted certificate in order to work.
By default OAB internal URL always set for HTTP://serverFQDN/OAB <http://serverfqdn/OAB>

Thanks & Regards,
Naddy.
