We have problem with one Exchange 2007. We have applied newest updates to server but somehow nobody cannot change password trough OWA.

If you change password from directly from laptop it works, or reset password from server, but when you use OWA to change password you get following message.

"The password supplied does not meet the minimum security requirements. Please contact technical support for your organization if you need help."

We have only six letters requirement in Default domain policy, nothing else. And even if you use password with 15 letters and symbols you won't be able to change password. What could cause this?

Do the users log on using domain\username and password or just username and password?

Dear friend,

in the DC >> domain security policy > Account policy > minimum password age keep it to 0, then put all user accounts in activedirectory as password never expires. then make reboot, Then change the password from owa it will change now,

Did something change recently?  I had this working fine and then all of a sudden we started getting reports of users not being able to change their password.  We have a 5 day minimum password age and this was not an issue with OWA 2007 password changes, but now all of I sudden I can't change an account password to anything through OWA no matter how many characters and combinations I use.

Due to our environment, I cannot change the minimum password.  This was working though before.
