I'm facing issue with our Exch 2000 server. All of sudden exch services went down, then ms exch info store service not getting started, also Exch Event and Directory Sync services.
As a result, users's outlook showing Disconnected in bottom right side.

I understand you are facing problem in exchange server 2000 which cannot mount exchange store and showing disconnected in bottom right side. I am sure you must be getting some error code on the screen. It will be great if you can inform us that error code message. There are plenty of reasons Outlook have many reasons due to exchange server 2000 disconnected from the outlook.
