Hello Everybody, Following a full HD on our exchange server, I could no long mount the public mailbox (error message: C1041739). The status of the box is "Dirty Shutdown". I have tried and sucessfully recovered the file using the eseutil /r, but using "isinteg /s servername -l pub1-log.txt -fix -test allfoldertests" I get the following message, "Isinteg canot initiate verification process" and I cannot find the log file in question. I wanted to try to remove the public mailbox to create a new one , but that doesn't seem possible. Any help would be much apreciated. Regards, Aduplain

hi mate, Is it only public folder store is showing dirty shutdown or mailbox store as well If it is showing dirty shutdown below that you can see logs required, do you have that logs existing in the log folder if so you can try eseutil /r or else it is useless. Next step would be restoring the database and runnig eseutil /cc (hard recovery) If then also it won't work means (dirty shutdown) then hard repair on the database (last recommended option where we find no way to go)

Hi Mohammed, No, the log files are no long available. But even after doing a sucessful soft recovery (eseutil /r), the status of the pubic mailbox is still stated as being "dirty" (eseutil /k) Regards, Aduplain
