I can send mail both internally and externally but I am having issues retrieving mail externally.. The only exchange error I am getting from Event Viewer is:

Log Name: Application
Source: MSExchangeTransport
Date: 12/28/2011 9:47:31 AM
Event ID: 12014
Task Category: TransportService
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: MAIL.liveoakpd.local
Description:
Microsoft Exchange could not find a certificate that contains the domain name mail in the personal store on the local computer. Therefore, it is unable to support the STARTTLS SMTP verb for the connector Default MAIL with a FQDN parameter of mail. If the connector's FQDN is not specified, the computer's FQDN is used. Verify the connector configuration and the installed certificates to make sure that there is a certificate with a domain name for that FQDN. If this certificate exists, run Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Services SMTP to make sure that the Microsoft Exchange Transport service has access to the certificate key.
Event Xml:
<Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">
<System>
<Provider Name="MSExchangeTransport" />
<EventID Qualifiers="49156">12014</EventID>
<Level>2</Level>

<Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords>
<TimeCreated SystemTime="2011-12-28T14:47:31.000Z" />
<EventRecordID>812085</EventRecordID>
<Channel>Application</Channel>
<Computer>MAIL.liveoakpd.local</Computer>
<Security />
</System>
<EventData>
<Data>mail</Data>
<Data>Default MAIL</Data>
</EventData>
</Event>

I went to digicert.com and generated a command to create a new certificate but now I cant enable that certicate for SMTP, IIS, POP, and IMAP because it tells me that the certificate doesnt exist.

Please help!
