using Exchange Server 2007 SP3.

I am doing a migration. or trying to.

I have a SSL certificate which I have been able to export from the old server and import into the new one.
I get this error in the eventlogs however and not sure where to go.

Microsoft Exchange could not find a certificate that contains the domain name mail.xxx.co.uk in the personal store on the local computer. Therefore, it is unable to support the STARTTLS SMTP verb for the connector Internet with a FQDN parameter of mail.sandlerltd.co.uk. If the connector's FQDN is not specified, the computer's FQDN is used. Verify the connector configuration and the installed certificates to make sure that there is a certificate with a domain name for that FQDN. If this certificate exists, run Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Services SMTP to make sure that the Microsoft Exchange Transport service has access to the certificate key.

how can I create and import the mail.xxx.xo.uk certificate? or should I change the FQDN for the Send connector (if this is what it is referring to) to use xxx.co.uk

sorry - im not an expert at exchange and learning
