Folks -

We would like to implement policy that has ActiveSync disabled by default on our US and EU servers. (server is Windows 2003 R2 x64)

What are the commands to disable this by default on specific email servers?

We have 3 servers US1 - EU1 and EU2 in a child domain.

We would like to be able to disable ActiveSync by default on the US1 and EU1 email servers and have it so that all new users will have this disabled.

We do not want to mess with the EU2 server.

Once they sign the written policy and agree - we would like to be able to enabled the specific mailboxes for ActiveSync.

How can we do this?

Thank you.

get-Mailbox | set-CASMailbox -ActiveSyncEnabled:$False will disable all ActiveSync on mailboxes in your organization.  I wasn't able to find a command specific to a single exchange server.

After that, you could always get a list of mailboxes on EU2 and pipe that into the command to enable Active Sync.

Get-content C:\users.txt | set-CASMailbox -ActiveSyncEnabled:$True

Sorry for the delay - the project got side tracked -

I would only like to implement this on a single server  - not the whole organization?

Is this turned on by default?

Also - on the active sync policy  - does the remote wipe - wipe the device completely like on a Blackberry?

Please advise. Thank you.
