Hi,
I had a ms exchange edb which had corrupted due to disk space full problem, I had try the eseutil /p (repair), then /d (defrag), then run the integrity test fix. after that, the edb can be mount but I still can't retrieve email, and I can't view the mailbox information from system manager.
Is there a way to remove the old edb file, and then create a new database, and create all the mailbox back from Active Directory? This server has thousand of user, and I can actually ignore all the old email message.

Right click mailbox store => Run clean up agent.
Then go to mailbox recovery centre and add the mailbox store and reconnect it.

According to your query! your edb file is heavily corrupted and you were unable to view any of your existing user account!! But I know you have a chance to recover your thousand's of user accounts and its related emails with all other item, Just try edb to pst recovery software from Enstella Systems and get your previous user accounts with all emails. This EDB to PST Recovery software is much cheaper than other tools and its perfectly works without Exchange Server environment. If Exchange database (EDB) files are severely damaged, it is highly advised to restore the damaged or corrupt .edb files from the recent backup. Performing a hard repair using built-in eseutil /p utility will check the Exchange database for any damaged pages; if it finds any, it will remove them. Make sure that you can live without any data inside the database before doing a hard repair, because you may lose data. Also, make sure you have twice as much free space as the size of the database before doing a hard repair � this is required for the temporary database that will be created..

If you want to recover accurate data and get off from the situation of data loss, you should go for a third party tool Exchange server recovery to repair the damaged .edb file.
