Is there anyway that we can create custom NDR messages instead of default ones. Actually we want that our customers should know once we disabled a mailbox that kindly send email to info@abc.om instead of this. Something like this. Is there any possibility in Exchange 2003 and 2007? Thanks.

The NDRs in Exchange 2003 cannot be changed.

Well they probably could if you handed over a very large amount of money (five figures or more) to Microsoft.

Thanks for your clarification. But what about Exchange 2007, is it possible for 2007?

yup in Exchange 2007 u can make a custome NDR as u like
just follow this

Unfortunately we don't have a way to customize/modify the text in NDR messages in both Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003 Server. Actually, the NDR is defined in some RFC documentation as an Internet standard. Also, because Microsoft Exchange Server is a RFC-compliant product, the typical NDR messages are hard coded in Exchange Server.

However this has changed in Exchange 2K7. You can now customize the NDR. Check this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123506.aspx
