Hi Every1 there..

My Setup...

Exchange 2007 Two Node Clustered

Will DPM 2007 work for my setup for backup purpose...

Yes, it will. We've been using it for 3 months and it has been working great. The one problem I saw though is that when I had failed over for a night, it did not backup my passive (now active) node. I have not looked into the issue yet.

Yes... we are setup the same way.  Backups work fantastic... as we can restore just 1 mailbox from DPM... which takes minutes.  From there you can either restore over previous... or restore to another active storage group... and restore folders etc.

I haven't tried the fail over peice as noted... to see if that breaks DPM.  I will certainly schedule that test to see what happens.  If you come across anything pertaining to that... be sure to post it back here!

DPM is a separate MS product, right?

Yes... backing up to tape and hard drive... we have the external box setup to.

sipstate001, please let me know what you find in your testing. I am in the middle of a 2008 Terminal Server deployment so don't have much time right now to test further. Thanks.
