I've read recently that Exchange databases, like the Pub & Priv Information Stores, are highly succeptable to corruption when exceeding 4GB in size. We are using Exchange 5.5 (Standard Edition) which claims a 16GB limit for Information Stores. As I approach this 4GB watermark, should I start to worry?

No worries! Back-up regularly and monitor event logs for problems (or use a nice management tools to automate monitoring).

And the standard edition does have a 16GB store limit.
